Psalm 45:1

Psalm 45:1 (NIV)
My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the King; my tongue is the pen of a skillfull writer.

This is rather random, but the above is my favorite Bible verse. What do you think of it? What's your favorite verse?

hey girl very interesting i don't think i've ever read that before---something very interesting happened to me the other night-i was really tired but couldn't sleep and i lay awake(correct grammar???...lol) for like an hour-then it hit me that maybe i should read my bible-so i got up and read for about 15 minutes and when i turned the light back off i was asleep within 3 minutes-it just hit me hard because i havent been reading my bible very much lately and i think that was the first time i really felt God talking to me like in my soul- =(.....anyway i came across
Psalms 77:13- Thy way O God is in the sanctuary:who is so great a God as our God?
-for some reason that verse has been in my head constantly since i thought it was pretty cool----wooaaaa long message-lol

That's really cool! I've only had a couple of instances myself in which I have felt God speak to my very soul. A powerful feeling, is it not? I just love the book of Psalms. There are so many different things to read about, for whatever mood you are in. There are songs of praise, of mourning, and of comfort. I like to just flip to a random one occasionally and see what it says. It's amazing how many times the one I've flipped to has been just what I needed to hear that day.

Hey sweet!! Love the Bible verse of course---let's see my favorite verse, hmmm......I really love Psalm 18----"I love you,O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my refuge, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies..."
I love you!!!!!

Romans 5:8- "In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." While that may sound a bit random to ya'll, I love it because it means that we (Christians) are driving back satan's kingdom with God.

Shelby Marie- I like this blog...you've inspired me. I'm gonna try and have a verse of the week on my blog, loveoffiction.blogspot.com. thanks!

Christian- That's one of my other favorite verses!

Araken, I love your verse! It is a good reminder of the spiritual warfare around us. I'm currently using parts of Psalm 18 as my verse of the week--that whole Psalm is really awesome! It is another reminder of spiritual warfare and sort of shows you how God protects his children.
By the way, I checked your blog out--I really like it! I'm very glad that I could be an inspiration---I hope you'll come by often!

Thanks,
Shelby Marie

My favorite verse is in Hebrews 13:5-6:

"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because has said, 'Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.' So we say with confidence, 'The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What can man do to me'?"

Oh and hi, araken!

God bless you!
